Defining a healthy lifestyle...
A healthy lifestyle is based on the choices you choose to make about your daily habits. The main foundations for continuing good health is nutrition, daily exercise, rest and sleep and not only your physical but also your mental health. With these foundations intact you will see a difference in your lifestyle for the better; it'll leave you fit, energetic, reduce risks for diseases and also put your on the right path for success because with a healthy mind and body you get a healthy life.
Health is defined as a state of complete social, physical and mental well-being however it is not defined as just the absence of disease/s.
In order to occupy a healthy living one must take certain steps and actions and also enforce strategies to achieve ones optimum health. However this is where many people fail; you MUST take responsibility for your actions, the good and bad, and make smart health choices not only for the now but also for the future. You entirely, the physical, mental and social aspects must all work in harmony with one another to achieve wellness and a balance lifestyle and energy must be put in each aspect of yourself.
PHYSICAL:
The physical aspect requires a good nutrition, appropriate weight, beneficial exercise, adequate rest and sleep and a proper stress management.
MENTAL/EMOTIONAL:
The emotional or mental aspect requires self-supportive attitude, positive thoughts and viewpoints on everyday tasks in ones life, actions and themselves (positive self-image). You also need to get in touch with yourself and realise your needs and wants in life, the necessities and the things that are not so important and can wait. You need to experience each emotion; love and compassion, sadness and anger, you need to learn to love others but also yourself and experience sadness but also happiness.
SPIRITUAL:
The spiritual aspect requires you to focus on whats important in your life. Create inner calmness and to trust yourself, the decisions you make and your inner knowing. For some people this can require having a relationship with a higher power. During this aspect you are able to evaluate your life and decide what worth having and whats best to let go; this is where you can cut out negativity crowding your judgement and decisions much like the mental/emotional aspect.
SOCIAL:
The social aspect requires you to evaluate your relationships in your life. The ones worth keeping and helping you grow as a person and the others that are detrimental towards you and cause nothing but hurt and suffering. This is where you can reflect who is really important in your life and the true relationships worth working at. It also requires the balance between all the aspects; physical, mental/emotional and spiritual.
